The void awaits
The year is 3142. Beyond the familiar worlds of Sol, distant systems beckon with opportunity and danger. You begin with a battered shuttle and a restless ambition. Where you go from here is yours to decide.
Tactical Tides is a multiplayer space trading and strategy game, played right in your browser. Carry precious cargo across the stars, cross paths with other captains and venture through wormholes into unfamiliar systems. Out here, a promising trade route can lead you straight into trouble.
Trade
A hold full of cargo. A distant port willing to pay. Make your living among the stars, following shifting prices and taking on deliveries across the systems. Every journey is a wager on what awaits at the other end.
Fight
Beyond the safety of the landing zones, a nearby ship may be a rival or your next target. Choose your battles and trust the ship you have outfitted. Combat unfolds in automatic rounds, where firepower, agility and the strength of your hull can turn the tide.
Explore
Leave the familiar orbits of Sol behind. Follow the waypoints into open space and seek out wormholes to systems you have yet to chart. Beyond each crossing lie new worlds, new markets and another reason to keep flying.
Make your name
The old shuttle is only the beginning. Work your way towards a laden freighter, a nimble fighter or a far-ranging explorer. The ships you choose and the battles you pick will shape your path as a trader, pirate or bounty hunter.
Your next chapter begins among the stars
A ship waiting on Earth. A galaxy beyond it. Take the captain's seat and set your own course in Tactical Tides.
Before you launch
Do I need to install anything?
No download is needed. Play in your web browser with an account and an internet connection.
How do turns work?
Navigation points refresh every 15 minutes. You can spend them on actions between ticks. Combat is resolved in rounds automatically, rather than controlled in real time.
Is my ship safe while I am away?
A launched ship can still be attacked while you are offline. Park in a landing zone at your current location to protect it, and keep a navigation point for launching again.
